"Ethics: An Issue That Gets You In The
Spotlight"
Don will share some stories of the simplicity of the traps, prevention, and results of some examples of purchasing/contracting ethic violations that have made the current events list. He promises it will not spoil your breakfast and you could leave with a better perspective of the issues confronting our profession. He will also provide attendees an opportunity to interact with their ideas.

Don is a frequent instructor at the University of Nevada in Negotiations and Contract Administration classes, and is the author of many articles in national publications for private and public purchasing. He is the author of Chapter 41 of The Purchasing Handbook - A Guide for the Purchasing and Supply Professional, a noted national speaker and presents continuing education seminars on a variety of purchasing, contract administration, and project management topics.
Don is an active member of NAPM (past District XII Director), NPI (past Director), NCMA (past President), and PMI; and is a current Director of the San Joaquin Valley Foundation, Inc. He has received many awards for his training programs and for his services to the purchasing profession, including the National Purchasing Institute’s prestigious “SAFOS” award in 1998, for outstanding contributions to the development and progress of NPI and the purchasing profession.
